Bare Bulb Test

Decided to see how my Norman 400B would work as a bare bulb so I took off the small reflector and gave it a try. I think it might work well in some situations for lighting large areas. This was with just one flash head attached to the battery.

Tour de Golden Gate Bridge

My friend Bruce Cook took this photo of the Tour of California going over the Golden Gate Bridge. Here's his account:

What a miserable morning it was. Pouring rain. It had been pouring rain for more than 24 hours. I got up at 6am and trekked to the Bridge, race started at 8:30am and by 8:45am in was all over. During that window you only saw bicyclists for about a minute and a half.

Alison

When I moved to Arkansas in March of 2001, one of the first things I did was set up a studio in my house to test the Dyna-Lite flash system. This is a portrait of Alison, a friend's daughter. I've been going through my older images looking for examples to use in my upcoming Basic Photography class and selected this one to use.

Work, Work, Work

Here I am at The Villager putting together frames. I took this to use as an example of a self portrait for my basic photography class I'll be teaching April to June.
