What a Difference a Few Years Makes

Well, actually more than a few years. More like 27 or 28 years. But hey, I still look good!

Twilight Zone Pepsi

Saw this Pepsi machine in an alley way in downtown Beloit a couple of years ago and could not figure out why it was there. Any ideas?

That's right.

Here's one of my favorite images from the white tulip shoot.

More Tulips

Way to windy for me to ride today so I stopped by a florist on the way home from my trip downtown this morning and bought some white tulips. Here's one result of my photography today with three variations.

A Change of Pace

It's a rainy, windy Sunday so no bike riding today. So here's a change of pace.

After not picking up a camera in a couple of months, I decided to see what I could do with photographing tulips in a "studio" setting. So last week I bought some tulips, got out the Dyna-Lite strobes, and started shooting over a period of three days. Here are two of my favorite. And by the way, it wasn't easy finding red tulips. I also wanted a single white tulip, but no one had white tulips.

Wow, February was the last post?

My sister Tina asked me today when I was going to update my blog and I realized that the last time I did was back on February 2nd. That was the day my focus changed rather quickly and I've been busy with other things.

So, here's an update.

This photo is of me and my new jersey I bought in Rochester, New York, last month when I was visiting a friend. We stopped by The Pedallers Bike Shop, where I had purchased two bikes for us over twenty years ago. It now sells high end Pinarelllo, Masi, Independent Fabrication, Terry, and Surly bicycles. So, this jersey was on sale as the team no longer exists. Kodak and Sierra Nevada were the sponsors. As as a friend commented, why don't you ever smile!
