Yosemite Take Two

Here's a quick editing job on a panorama taken from Glacier Point.

Yosemite Take One

We got to Yosemite this afternoon and headed up to Glacier Point, the best place from which to see the entire valley. So here's the standard cliche shot of Half Dome and three photos of your intrepid photographers.

A Girl Can't Have Too Many Digital Devices

Enough said.

Bike Store Visit

When I lived in Sunnyvale, this is where I spent all of my disposable income and then some, Walt's Cycle and Fitness. Emily and I stopped in to see Jim Burris (photo 2), the owner. He sent us out on a test ride of a prototype bike he has in the shop for a couple of weeks. Emily got the great shot of the color fenders.

The Girls...

After a one hour tour of the O'Hare taxi ways in the rain, the plane finally took off. And after a traffic jam between Santa Cruz and Capitola, I finally made it to Seaside. Emily, Courtney, and I went into Monterey for dinner and here are two "tourist" poses. For those who don't know, Emily is on the left.

California Visit

On Wednesday I'm off to California to pick up Emily who spent the semester at Cal State Monterey Bay. We'll be in the bay area for a day visiting old friends then off to Yosemite for the weekend. Back to the bay area to photograph from the Marin Headlands, lunch in Sausalito with Bruce, then a road trip down Highway 1 photographing what ever is interesting. Hope to stop for lunch at Duarte's Tavern in Pescadero. Then on to Pigeon Point Lighthouse, a great place for photos. (Seems my sisters didn't see it when they passed it by on the drive from San Francisco to Monterey in January.)
So starting Thursday, look for daily updates from California!
