Issues
Just tried to post some new photos and for some reason can't. So since I'm on Facebook and doing more over there, I'll no longer post to this blog.

B.iCycle Tracks a Walk with Abbey
B.iCycle iPhone App
Got this great app for my iPhone called B.iCycle. It's a gps app that records your bike ride. When finished you email it to yourself and the open the data file in Google Earth and it plots your trip. Tried it today, just one way, when I rode to Badger Spirits. Above is the Google Earth plot of the data. And below are the stats:
Trip distance - 0.5 miles, Trip calories - 36 kcal, Average Speed - 11.0 mph, Climbed altitude - 46 feet
Can't wait to take a longer ride!

Adieu Kodachrome
You give us those nice bright colors
You give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my Kodachrome away
After 74 years, Kodak announced this week that it will halt production of Kodachrome by the end of the year. Kodachrome was invented by musicians Leopold Mannes and Leopold Godowsky who expiremented with color photography in their spare time. In 1930, Eastman Kodak contracted with them to move to Rochester and take advantage of the Kodak research facilities. You give us the greens of summers

I shot a lot of Kodachrome in my life as a photographer and the slides I shot in the 1970s are just a beautiful today as when they came back from the processor.
Adieu Kodachrome.
